Before he was a Hall of Famer, Brett Favre was a second string QB for the Green Bay Packers. Here is a rare video of Favre discussing his young NFL career on a local Wisconsin TV station.
When this interview took place, Favre had just replaced an ineffective Don Majkowski in the second half of a Week 2 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Green Bay lost that game, 31-3). His first pass in that game was deflected by the Bucs' Ray Seals into his own hands.
Oh. By the way, the next week Favre replaced an injured Majkowski and led the Packers to an unprobable comeback win over the Cincinnati Bengals. He hasn't backed up anyone since.
