After playing 18 holes with Tom Glavine, John Smoltz, and Jeff Francouer on Monday, Tiger decided to enter his friend John Smoltz's domain on Wednesday, facing Smoltz from the batter's box.
Woods donned a batting helmet and Braves jersey (tucked into shorts) and stepped into the batter's box when Smoltz threw three simulated innings at Disney's Wide World of Sports.Tiger's "controversial" single landed within five feet of the cup I'm sure.According to Braves officials who were present, Woods struck out twice and drew a walk before getting a "controversial" single in his final at-bat.
Am I the only one who wouldn't have been surprised if Tiger took Smoltz deep? I didn't know the man could fail at anything. Unfortunately, as far as I know there's no video available of this, and I've been looking.
