What is it with these Tar Heels and noise ordinances? UNC senior swingman Marcus Ginyard is free on a $150 bond after turning himself in to police after missing a court date.

Ginyard was to face two misdemeanor charges of a noise ordinance and driving with an expired inspection sticker (the state of North Carolina forces you to have your car inspected every year). He missed the court date ... so the police were looking for him.

His next court date is set for July 22.

This is the second Tar Heel to face the Chapel Hill police department this offseason. Ty Lawson was arrested for driving after drinking and having his car stereo too loud.
