Fox's All Star Game Promo Is Uninspiring Despite the Graphics

"For one magical night this summer, baseball history will take over New York City." Ouch, Yankees. Burn, Mets. FOX apparently forgot that Alex Rodriguez just passed Mickey Mantle (that counts for at least two nights, right?) Anyway, I wasn't particularly blown away by the following promo for this year's All Star Game, sweet fence - flag graphics aside.

At first I figured it was because I'm jaded. Then I thought it might be because A-Rod and Jeter don't strike me as "great". Finally, while trying to figure out how a television station that is wily enough to play Widespread Panic and the White Stripes during their Saturday game seemingly dropped the ball, I realized the whole thing reminds me of that stupid robot that they use on Sundays.
