I'm sure you are all well aware of Kings center Jarret Stoll's romance with Rachel Hunter.

If not, make yourself aware. The two have been a "thing" for a while now, and we now have word that things are getting a tad serious.

Actually, it seems the two may be on the verge of doing some baby-making.

According to friends, Jarret is a lovely guy and absolutely besotted with her, while she's been quoted in New Idea saying: "I think I would like more children. I wouldn't want to adopt though. I think I have two years left to have a child naturally if I want to."

And marriage? Is she into it?

"It's something I guess I am open to but it's not something I need in my life. If I had another child with somebody I wouldn't need marriage to let it happen."

You hear that, Jarret? You got two years. Get to work!

I know that you, like your humble correspondent, have absolutely no clue what the word "besotted" means. That's what dictionary.com is for.

1. to intoxicate or stupefy with drink.
2. to make stupid or foolish: a mind besotted with fear and superstition.
3. to infatuate; obsess: He is besotted by her youth and beauty.

So Jarret's drunk with love. Either that, or she makes him stupid or foolish. Take your pick, I guess.

As McErlain noted when he was traded to the Kings, Rachel must be thrilled to have her boy in Los Angeles. It might not be good for his chances of getting his name on the Stanley Cup, but he gets to go home to Rachel Hunter. Very difficult to complain much about that.
