Jason Kidd Recognizes That Team USA Could Be Shooting Better From Beyond the Arc

We've already covered at length -- both here and elsewhere -- the issue of the issues surrounding (just go with it) Team USA and their potential for success and/or failure. Fortunately, we can stop debating. Jason Kidd is here, via YBB, to tell us that the American team is the best defensive team assembled since 1996 and that the threes will start to drop eventually.

Now, "LeBron" seems like a bit of a stretch in terms of answers for the "Why is this the greatest defensive basketball team of all time?" question, but hey, he is kind of a superhuman, immortal type, so I'll go with it.

The bigger issue to me is that Team USA's success/failure -- as cliche as this is -- can only be measured in gold. Anything else = FAIL, even if they shoot the rock better and play better defense. (And yes, those things do in fact help with winning. So there's that.)
