If you are a Dallas lover or hater, you have to read the D Magazine interview with Jerral Wayne Jones, aka Jerry Jones, owner of the Cowboys.

He answers just about every question you would want to ask Jones except his views on plastic surgery. Highpoints include a discussion of the firing of long time coach Tom Landry, his business background and growing the Cowboys, criticism of ticket pricing at the stadium, creating a succession plan for his children, and his philosophy on risk. It really is worth a read and is too lengthy to properly summarize.

He was even asked about whether quarterback Tony Romo's relationship with Jessica Simpson bothered him:
Tony's relationship with Jessica Simpson doesn't bother me at all. It's good for the franchise-adding sizzle and show business and interest-and it doesn't affect Tony's performance in any way.
The short YouTube above disagrees. And probably former coach Bill Parcells, given his dim view of celebrity quarterbacks.

I think the interview won't change anyone's view of Jones.

If you are inclined to think he is a smart, risk-taking businessman who is growing the NFL despite itself, the interview will reinforce that view. And if you are inclined to think of him as a smug, blowhard, image-obsessed representation Dallas Cowboy evil, and that he is pushing the NFL in the wrong direction by valuing money over the interest of fans, the interview will also support those thoughts as well.
