Last night Woods continued his Tour De Wii on Conan O'Brien (second part after the jump), where the two chatted about the U.S. Open victory, his knee, baby Sam and, of course, the game. As awkward as these two seemed to be together, a few of the questions thrown at our Golfing Pope brought out some solid emotion.
Asked about his knee currently, Tiger said, "It's Better, better than it was then, that's for sure." When questioned what they actually did in the surgery, Woods told us, "They took my hamstring tendon out of my right leg and put it into my left as my new ACL and repaired some cartilage damage."
Maybe the biggest zinger of the night (and comedians everywhere cringe) came when asked to describe the pain when they viewed a shot by Tiger during the U.S. Open.
Conan -- What was causing the pain at that time?
Tiger -- Constipation. The interview seemed to linger on, but it was nice to hear about his daughter Sam and her love for golf. "We were watching a little bit of a tournament and she gets out on the rug and starts turning, she's trying to imitate the turn. And then she picked up the golf club and tried to hit the dog with it."
The two then played the new Tiger Woods PGA Tour '09 game and, shockingly, Conan's trash talking led to a win for Tiger. No matter, it's still nice to see Tiger slightly chipper and still alive.
