The Brady Quinn era just can't seem to gain any sort of momentum, can it? Meanwhile Notre Dame fans throw a hissy fit and everyone else just laughs. Ha.
Anyway, we have some great news for everyone that actually wants the Browns to have a successful season ... Derek Anderson and Braylon Edwards both returned to practice today. As long as there are no unforeseen setbacks, you can expect the Pro Bowl air attack duo to be on the field against the Cowboys this Sunday (seriously, it's less than a week until the NFL starts ... I can't even stand the anticipation). This is huge news for the Brownies, as heading into a game against the NFC's likely best team without Edwards and Anderson had the recipe for disaster ... which would have been followed by the entire Cleveland fan base's ushering in a state of panic.
Now everyone can exhale. They'll only lose by two touchdowns instead of four.
Fantasy Spin:
Browns fans aren't the only ones exhaling. Owners likely spent high picks to acquire both Braylon and Anderson. Having question marks about fantasy starters heading into week one is the worst case scenario for any owner. While you'd expect the Cowboys defense to deal with the Browns stout offense quite well, I expect the Browns to be playing from behind the entire game ... thus, passing. Get both these guys in your active lineups for week one in every format and enjoy the shootout.
