So that's how you catch the ball.

Player props that come out of Las Vegas are always an interesting gauge of a pretty generalized public opinion. Also, they're fun to bet on. And sometimes humiliating for the player involved.

In the case of some of BoDog's Week 3 lines -- you may see how they don't think Steve Smith will crack 70 receiving yards against the Vikings here -- all three of those apply to Braylon Edwards.
How many drops will Braylon Edwards have in week 3 of the 2008 NFL season?

Player must start game to have action.

Over 1½

In other words, the favored end of this bet is to take the under. Clearly. But that's not the important thing. The important thing is that there is a freaking prop bet on how many passes Edwards will drop. There's also one on Brady Quinn's starts for this year, which is awkward, because I thought Derek Anderson and Braylon were boys. Maybe not.
