After the Suns' first preseason game against the Hawks, Steve Nash answered a few questions about his team's upcoming game this weekend in Palm Springs, CA, which will just happen to be played outside. His thoughts:

Q: Thoughts on the outdoor game on Saturday?

Steve Nash: Yeah I think it'll be fun, I think it's great. Why not, you know? Preseason games are very overrated anyway, so uh, might as well throw one out there that's outdoors.

Q: Chain nets and a blacktop? Double rim?

SN: I don't think that goes with the Indian Wells code though. It's not exactly the Bronx.

Q: When's the last time you played an outdoor game that mattered?

SN: Uh, last time? I don't think I've ever played an outdoor game that mattered. It always mattered, we played a lot ... it mattered to us. But it wasn't in the paper the next day.

Q: Have you been to Palm Springs, do you know what you're going into?

SN: I've never been to Palm Springs ...

Q: Outlet stores, your wife aware of that?

SN: Um, well, my wife's not on the team, so she doesn't get to go ... so, I don't know what to expect, I'm excited to go and see a new place.
