The Rays have been exceeding expectations for almost seven months, so why stop now? Last night, in a game where they were significant underdogs, they beat up on Boston ace Jon Lester to take a 2-1 series lead. Tonight they send Andy Sonnanstine, who finished off their ALDS win against the White Sox, to the hill. Boston counters with Tim Wakefield, as the Red Sox try to even the series at two. If they come back in this series, it certainly wouldn't be the first time; they were famously down 3-0 against the Yankees in the 2004 ALCS, and just last year they were down 3-1 to the Indians before rallying to win the series.
