The Pittsburgh Steelers did what they should have done and just pummeled the Cincinnati Bengals 38-10.

The score of the game was actually close for the first three quarters. After quickly going up 10-0, the Steelers seemed to let of the gas a bit and allow the Bengals back into the game. The Bengals ... who went three-and-out on their first five possessions ... didn't get a first down until five minutes left in the first half. When they finally did, the crowd at Paul Brown Stadium erupted in cheer.

Of course about half of those people were jeering Steelers fans who made the trip to the 'Nati and gobbled up unwanted tickets.

The Bengals would drive down the field a few times and even threw a touchdown pass to Chad Johnson. Heading into the final quarter, Pittsburgh's lead was only 17-10.

That's when good teams shine and bad teams show their true colors. Pittsburgh took over at their own nine-yard line and turned it into a 50-yard touchdown pass to Nate Washington. They would then score TDs on their next two drives to put the game away.

Mewelde Moore was the biggest star of the evening. Moore filled in for the injured Willie Parker nicely by rushing for 120 yards and scoring a total of three TDs.

The defense wasn't too shabby, either. Linebacker Lawrence Timmons recorded a huge sack on Ryan Fitzpatrick in the middle of the fourth quarter as the Bengals were driving to tie the game. Fitzpatrick was sacked seven times as Cincinnati netted just 212 yards of offense.

The Steelers are quietly at 5-1 and sitting atop the AFC North standings. The Bengals are not-so-quietly sitting at 0-7. Since owner Mike Brown took over the franchise in 1991, there have been 18 teams to start a season 0-7; the Bengals are five of those teams.
