Whether the actual product the Big Ten Network will show is actually better is not important. It will simply seem to be better with the irrepressible Gus Johnson calling the games on the BTN this season. There is no doubt that this was a great get by the BTN, simply because Gus Johnson makes even the ordinary game better. Plus, there is no one you want calling a game when it goes down to the end.
I guess Johnson is managing to squeeze in Big Ten basketball in between NFL games on CBS, the radio voice of the New York Knicks, ringtones, interviews, and of course doing the NCAA Tournament. Good to read he is keeping busy.
