I must confess. I have actually never had Ashton Kutcher as my football coach and although I think he'd help with my four-step drop, I couldn't see him as much of a sled lover (those things are heavy!). Kutcher, the star or such moves as (checks IMDB) 'What Happened In Vegas' and 'Guess Who', is an assistant coach at Harvard-Westlake and is enjoying the job, but the players aren't so happy.
According to Star Magazine, the first place I go for sports news, Kutcher isn't so popular with some of the younger lads, even being given a rather immature (but kinda funny) nickname.
Coach of the year? Not quite. Kutcher has been having a ball as assistant coach to North Hollywood's Harvard-Westlake School freshman footballers. But the feeling isn't mutual.I mean, if I was Kutcher I might take a little offense to this until I realized that it is HARVARD-WESTLAKE! Honestly, what kind of pretentious talent is coming out of this place? While I'd really like to make a Brady Quinn joke right now, even he seems to be above such a place as Harvard-Westlake.
"The kids want him gone," says an insider. "They think he doesn't know what he's talking about and can't stand his tough-guy attitude."
Out of the huddle, the kids mock their famous coach and have even given him a special nickname: Ashton Doucher!
"Oh scurry, anyone up for a short stint in the coffee barista before heading off to strings class? I feel I need a boost if one is to hit the A-minor properly."
Stupid kids. Don't they realize the man that once saved Kevin Costner from a nasty water rescue is there to help on his own free time?
