Disorderly Conduct Chargers Against Koby Clemens Dropped by Prosecutor

It's been quite some time since the Clemens family got some good news, unless you consider sympathy from an unfamous "singer" good news. Well, today they finally heard something positive. Roger Clemens' son, Koby Clemens was arrested on August 31st for disorderly conduct stemming from a bar fight of sorts. The charges against Koby and his friend, Mark Ori, have been dropped by Salem County Prosecutor Thomas E. Bowers.
A spokesman for Bowers said the prosecutor agreed to drop the case against Clemens and Ori after their attorneys said they would perform community service. The two athletes spoke to four student groups Thursday in the Salem area about alcohol, drugs and peer pressure.
We can begin to draw some reasonable conclusions from the situation now, especially since the other man who was arrested with Clemens and Ori, Jimmy Goethals, is still being charged with assault and battery.

Sounds like Goethals got himself into a little scrap and his two friends tried to help him out of it. The cops show up, arrest everyone involved in the fracas, and the public wants to start calling one of them a "punk" because his Dad is one.
