The defending national player of the year is officially back. Tyler Hansbrough was in North Carolina's starting lineup in their matchup at UC-Santa Barbara. Hansbrough missed the Heels' first two games of the season, wins over Penn and Kentucky, with a stress reaction in his shin. It was thought that Hansbrough could have played in those games if he wanted to but that coach Roy Williams was trying to be cautious with him.
Maybe "caution" got thrown out the window when freshman center Tyler Zeller was lost for the season with a broken wrist suffered against Kentucky.
UNC needs Psycho T as they are currently trailing the Gauchos, 27-25. Hansbrough has scored seven points -- all from the free throw line.
