Duke basketball head coach Mike Krzyzewski was involved in a minor auto accident on Friday.
Duke basketball coach Mike Krzyzewski was in a one-car accident Friday driving to work but held practice as normal, Duke spokesman Jon Jackson said.

"He's fine. He was at practice," said Jackson, Duke's associate athletics director of communications.

Jackson said the accident "was nothing serious." Jackson said Krzyzewski was not injured.
That's great news that he okay and that it wasn't serious. The thing is that Durham police have no record of any accident involving Coach K on Friday.

Of course, Duke haters are all over this. NC State blog StateFansNation said: "Police have charged the tree that Krzyzewski hit with a flagrant blocking foul and awarded Duke with two shots and the ball."

Over at , a commenter posted: This is in reference to the 1995 season when Coach K took a leave of absence due to back problems and Gaudet led Duke to a 2-14 ACC record. Those results were not charged to Krzyzewski.

There were also some insensitive remarks involving Bobby Hurley and Jason Williams and the history of Duke accidents.
