ESPN's Ed Werder, citing unnamed sources, reported earlier this week that Owens was jealous of Romo's and Witten's relationship. T.O. denied the allegation a day later, and would go on to have words with Witten in the locker room, right after Phillips announced that everything was hunky dory at Valley Ranch.

The incident, in which Witten was rebuffed by Owens while attempting to speak with him about a pass route, happened during Friday's practice. It came after coach Wade Phillips said a team meeting, "set everything straight, as far as I'm concerned, and I think the players, too."In the scheme of things, this is hardly a big deal -- MDS points out that when with the Eagles, Owens put then-offensive coordinator Brad Childress on silence, and did the same a year later in Dallas with Todd Haley.
Sources said the incident did not become physical and that practice continued.
As for the Romo-Witten torrid love affair, according to Archer's sources, the players don't "have private meetings and was surprised at the ESPN report." No word on if this is guy is the source or if Werder is just running with a story that isn't there. Tough call, there.
