Cranky Old Men Giving Fantasy Advice

Billy Packer and Bobby Knight are not exactly the names you would think of for giving fantasy advice -- college basketball or any other. The cantankerous, iconic figures in college basketball are not exactly proponents of cutting-edge statistics or stat-stuffing players.

Yet the pair will be dispensing advice and analysis.
Fantasy Sports Ventures (FSV) will feature Packer and legendary coach Bob Knight on a new website that will launch in mid-February.

The site, which will be accessible through FSV's portal site, fantasyplayers.com, will offer a bracket game, plus analysis, blogs, interviews, video and other features from Packer and Knight.
Nothing says new fantasy college basketball feature like two 68-year old men. I'm sure they will be right there discussing PER, tempo-free stats and such. That or offering hollow, generic soundbites with little usefulness. Sadly this appears to be all about getting big names to try and create interest in a new site, not about any useful, creative information.
