Less than a week ago, Annika Sorenstam, who retired from the game in 2008, was married to a gentleman by the name of Mike McGee (who some think looks a lot like Padraig Harrington). Now it is Lorena Ochoa's turn.
Local media reported that the 27-year-old Ochoa was proposed to by 39-year-old Andres Conesa, director general of Aeromexico arline, about a month ago and the two are planning on making it official at the end of the year.
Ochoa, ranked at the top of the Rolex standings, is sponsored by Aeromexico, so she could be the first-ever member of the Mile High Engagment and Endorsement Club. (Trust me, I have no idea what that means either.)
The LPGA '09 season kicks off January 24 with the HSBC Brazil Cup, with the first full event coming the week after in Hawaii.
