Every night there are some stupendous, silly, stupid, or downright outlandish individual lines from around the lig. Doing Lines lets you know which one tops the list.Michael Redd has been a-blaze in January, and Friday's performance against Sacramento didn't cool him off: 44 points, all of which came in the first three quarters. Redd scored on quick trigger threes (six for nine behind the arc), open lay-ups (10 for 17 on twos) and from the line (six for six).
But John Salmons shut Redd down in the fourth quarter as the Kings attempted the comeback. Even more, Salmons got the Redd bug and exploded: 20 of his 24 points came in the final period. But as is so often the case with Sacramento, it just wasn't enough.
Grown Men: Dwight Howard waltzed into Staples and dropped 25/20/3 on the Lakers in a Magic win. David Lee's Knicks didn't get a victory, but the big fellow did throw down 15/21 on perfect shooting and with four assists.
Fill It Up: Stephen Jackson's back, and he got busy filling up the stat sheet Friday against the Hawks: 24 points, seven rebounds, six assists, four steals ... and six turnovers. Well done, sir.
