In a move that's been expected for two weeks now, Jay Glazer of FOX Sports is reporting that the Kansas City Chiefs have offered their head coaching position to Arizona Cardinals offensive coordinator Todd Haley.

According to Glazer, the two sides are currently working on a contract, while he quoted one unidentified Cardinals player as saying, "he's going to be a big loss for us."

Haley, 41, replaces Herm Edwards who was fired by incoming general manager Scott Pioli after going 15-33 during his three years in Kansas City.

He served as the offensive coordinator for the Arizona Cardinals the past two seasons and has over 10 years of experience as a wide receivers coach with the New York Jets, Chicago Bears and Dallas Cowboys.
