Ring Magazine ranks the Armenian boxer Vic Darchinyan as the top 115-pounder in the world, but he's going to have a tough test against No. 6 ranked Jorge Arce on Saturday night. At least, I think it will be a tough test. Darchinyan sounds like he thinks he's going to give Arce a beating.
"I believe I can beat anyone," Darchinyan says in the above video. "Arce is just disrespectful. I'm not talking as much as he's talking, and I promise him, I will remind him of his words in the ring. I will punish him badly for his words."
The 31-1-1 Darchinyan is taking on Arce just three months after he destroyed Cristian Mijares. I think he's right to be confident, he should give the 51-4-1 Arce his fifth career loss.
The fight takes place Saturday night in Anaheim on Showtime.
