Dwyane Wade Accused of Holding Sex Parties, Smoking Pot

A man who had a business deal with Dwyane Wade fall through is accusing the Heat star of hosting sex parties, trying to bed lots of women, and smoking pot. (So basically, the business partner is accusing Wade of trying to be Michael Phelps.)



All this noise comes through the Palm Beach Post's gossip site, which means we need a double-dose of eye-rolling skepticism. The accuser, a British chap named Richard Von Houtman, is already suing Wade for breach of contract with respect to their restaurant venture. You imagine making claims -- true or false -- about Wade's salty after-hours adventures would give Von Houtman a leg up. Wade's publicist accuses such.

The allegations are rich:
Von Houtman described used condoms on the floor of the bedrooms, obvious signs of sexual activities on all the beds, empty champagne and hard-liquor bottles, nearly-finished blunts and half-eaten food rotting on tables and furniture.
The gossip site has this from the publicist:
"It's a shame that a disgruntled former business associate is peddling these fairy tales to fit his own personal agenda."
It's also a shame that his divorce proceeding turned bitter; this seems like piling on, or jumping into the pinata scuffle to get yours. It's shameful, and it's really not what I'd like to be talking about. So let's just point out that every non-action movie marketed toward young men involves a dude or dudes bedding strange women or smoking dope, and no one raises an eyebrow or a hackle (except Matt Damon). Just because Wade is rich and black shouldn't change our opinion. The married with children part, however ...
