Upon arrival in Phoenix on Tuesday, President Barack Obama received a gift from the one and only Shaquille O'neal. Shaq couldn't be there to meet the President, so he sent the President something uniquely Shaq -- a size 23 autographed shoe.

Video of Obama receiving the gift after the jump.

Shaq turned himself into the ambassador of Phoenix at this year's All-Star game, so it was only fitting that President Obama was greeted by a gift from the "Big Cactus" himself.

And what great product placement for Shaq's shoe company, Li Ning. I wouldn't be surprised if every basketball player started sending their signature shoe as a gift to the President, just so they can get some free publicity.

In all seriousness, I think it was a genuine gesture by Shaq, and shows why he is as beloved as he is. The guy just understands big moments better than pretty much every other NBA player.
