Every night there are some stupendous, silly, stupid, or downright outlandish individual lines from around the "lig." Doing Lines lets you know which one tops the list.Andre Miller didn't move at the deadline, despite Philadelphia's season not living up to expectations and Dre due for July free agency. To be honest, there didn't seem to be as much interest in Miller as you would have predicted. Perhaps that came from the Sixers shutting down inquiries. It's easy to see why when Dre goes off as he did Saturday, whipping out 30 points, nine rebounds, two assists and no turnovers.
Not enough, it turns out. Dwyane Wade countered with 25 points and nine assists. Continuing a mind-numbing trend, Wade had a game-high three blocks. Ridiculous, man.
Chain Lightening: The Thunder couldn't win in Oakland, but it wasn't for lackluster performance from OKC's Magnificent Three. Russell Westbrook had 31 points, 11 assists and five assists. Kevin Durant had 32 points and six rebounds. Jeff Green had 27 points, 15 rebounds and six assists. All three shot better than 52%.
So how did OKC lose by a baker's dozen? Well, our three heroes combined to cough up 16 turnovers. Other than Kyle Weaver, the rest of the Thunder roster combined for 11 points. And, um, Golden State scored 133 points.
