Brandon Marshall Arrested ... Again
This is the fourth arrest for Marshall since 2006, which I believe ties him for the league lead with Bengals wide receiver Chris Henry.
Marshall, one of the NFL's best receivers, was suspended for one game in 2008 for violating the league's personal conduct policy, putting him on commissioner Roger Goodell's double-secret probation list. The suspension in 2008 was originally a three-game banishment, which was later reduced to one game.
Without knowing the details as to what transpired on Sunday -- the ESPN.com report says he was in a fight -- it's doubtful Goodell will reduce the inevitable suspension Marshall will receive prior to the 2009 season.
As PFT points out, Chris Henry was suspended for eight games during the 2007 season after his fourth arrest.
According to the ESPN report, Marshall posted $300 bond and was released.
