Jay Cutler has been scrutinized recently because he's pouting about the Denver Broncos considering the notion of trading the young gunslinger.

That scrutiny should only increase in the coming days, as well, because there are multiple rumors circulating the internet right now that have both the Vikings and Lions interested in trading for Cutler.
According to the Denver Post, the Vikings and Detroit Lions have expressed an interest in Broncos quarterback Jay Cutler.

The Post report also mentions that the Broncos would probably not want the Lions No. 1 pick because of the price tag ($30-plus million in guarantees) attached to the pick.
Whether or not these are actually real trade possibilities remains to be seen. Of course, the likelihood that they might come to fruition will certainly increase if Cutler continues to ignore the Broncos' request that he sit down with them and discuss the fairly petulant way in which he's addressing the team listening to offers.

As for the actual repercussions of the trades, well, if the Vikes landed Cutler and T.J. Houshmandzadeh, they would suddenly will have had one hell of an offseason. The Lions? Well, they'd still be a long way off, but at least they wouldn't be forced into taking Matthew Stafford with the top pick in the NFL draft.
