Every night there are some stupendous, silly, stupid, or downright outlandish individual lines from around the "lig." Doing Lines lets you know which one tops the list.

Indiana golden boy Troy Murphy had himself a devastating effort in Sacramento, scoring on deep shots, uncontested lay-ups and one particularly wicked reverse baseline jam. Yes, Troy Murphy, wicked reverse baseline jam. It's true. It happened. I saw it. (YouTube wants to hide the truth.)

All told, Murphy tore apart the Kings to the tune of 23 points, 10 rebounds, six assists, two steals and two blocks. Murph threatens to rip the fabric of the NBA if he keeps this nonsense up.

Beating Milwakee is SO BORING^: Brook Lopez, our heroic connoseuir of fun, roughed up the dilapidated Milwaukee interior. Bropez finished with 24 points on just 12 FGAs, with 12 rebounds and three blocks. And you know what? He just might be your 2009 Rookie of the Year.

Ladies and Gentlemen, Your Chicago Schitzophrenics: The Bulls are like a roller coaster: sometimes you just want to vomit. John Salmons, that wonton destroyer of fun, shot 4-13 for nine points. He took seven threes and made one. He had three turnovers and one assist. Charlotte beat Chicago by 16. (Sorry Johnny. I'm not a hater, I just curse a lot.)
