Donald Driver has carved out a pretty good career for himself. The former seventh-round draft pick developed into a top wide receiver for the Packers, with whom he's spent his whole NFL career. While you hear stories of certain receivers acting like spoiled little children when they don't get the ball, Driver hasn't; when Greg Jennings became a more prolific receiver in 2008, Driver didn't say anything negative.
With the way Driver has always carried himself off the field, it wasn't surprising to hear him have some not-so-kind things to say about Terrell Owens.
How he said it, though, was mildly amusing.
A transcript of a portion of Driver's comments can be found at PFT.
"T.O. is a nice guy, if you get to know him, a nice, down-to-earth guy. Could I ever play with T.O.? No. We have talked about if we could ever play with each other. He wants the ball. I guess you could say he's selfish. He's a selfish little brat, but he's a good guy in person."But I mean it in the nicest possible way!
I doubt anyone is going to argue with Driver, though there are some who -- whether they have ever met Owens or not -- will say there's no chance he's a "good guy in person."
