Every night there are some stupendous, silly, stupid, or downright outlandish individual lines from around the "lig." Doing Lines lets you know which one tops the list.Toronto is still alive in the Eastern Conference. Fifteen games under .500, hanging on a thread for the past week, 14th place in the conference ... and alive. And so long as the Raptors keep beating the opponents in their way, they will remain alive.
Andrea Bargnani did some heavy lifting Saturday against the Knicks, racking up 23 points and seven rebounds. Chris Bosh helped with 17/13, Shawn Marion handled business with 12/13 and Quincy Douby had a True Shooting percentage of 100%!
One Raptors loss or one Pistons win will finish off Toronto for good, assuming Chicago doesn't lose out.
Speaking of ...: The Bulls won again, Chicago's seventh win in 10 games, sending the team ahead of Detroit and into the No. 7 seed. Ben Gordon shot poorly from the floor but made it up by drawing fouls, sussing out 18 points in the end. Despite the loss, New Jersey's Brook Lopez proved to be America's real hero, going for 20/10/3.
Dre Day: The Andres Iguodala and Miller went ballistic against Detroit, with 31 points and nine rebounds for the former and a 21-10-12 triple-double for the latter. Philly remains virtually tied with Miami for the No. 5 seed.
