Martellus Bennett Talks Female Flatulence in His Latest Blogging Effort

Martellus Bennett has a blog at the Dallas Morning-News' Cowboy Insider. It's becoming a pretty common trend, really, seeing athletes blogging. But most of them are usually pretty tame. Not Bennett's.

In his latest entry for the DMN, he discusses female flatulence, presumably having watched South Park this week. I wish I was kidding. And, obviously, some potentially offensive language after the jump.

Man what do you do if your chic farts?It doesn't seem as if women should fart. I was walking in the grocery store in the chips and dips aisle. This lady was walking in front of me pushing her cart she stopped to pick up some pringles and let one rip. Sounded like a growl and and a motor but smelt like a dead carcus. OMG! Now I knew it wasn't me LOL and we were the only two people on the aisle. She just smiled and kept walking like nothing happened the smell followed her.

And yeah, there's plenty more, including a rhetorical debate as to whether or not if, while on a date with Angelina Jolie, should she emit something of a gaseous nature, you continue to allow her to feed you "pancakes and spaghetti."

Now, I'm not one for censorship, and Lord knows I enjoy a good, aggressive blogging joke. But the fact that the DMN allowed this to be published (presumably Bennett doesn't have access to their server, right???) is kind of beyond anything reasonable.

No, there's technically nothing offensive about the post, but it still delves into what can best be referred to as "D&F Jokes," and it just seems odd that a nationally read paper would allow an athlete to discuss female flatulence in such a manner on their website. But, hey, what do I know? I'm just hanging out in my mom's basement, stinking the joint up.
