Round: 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 7

Round 5
Selection
1 (137). Seattle Seahawks (From Detroit)
Jason Phillips, MLB, TCU
Our Take: Very solid selection to start round 5 for Seattle. Phillips is a throwback, hard-working linebacker.
2 (138). Atlanta Falcons (From St. Louis)
William Middleton, CB, Furman

3 (139). Kansas City Chiefs
Colin Brown, OT, Missouri

4 (140). Chicago Bears (From Seattle via Denver)
Johnny Knox, WR, Abilene Christian

5 (141). Denver Broncos (From Cleveland via Philadelphia)
Kenny McKinley, WR, South Carolina
Our Take: McKinley's rail-thin and didn't produce huge numbers last year. He'll try to make the team as a backup receiver.
6 (142). Cincinnati Bengals
Kevin Huber, P, Cincinnati

7 (143). Dallas Cowboys (From Oakland via Atlanta)
DeAngelo Smith, CB, Cincinnati
Our Take: Pretty good value here for the Cowboys. Smith, at one point, looked like a possible first-day selection.
8 (144). Jacksonville Jaguars
Jarett Dillard, WR, Rice
Our Take: Smaller and slower than you'd like, but his numbers show that he can catch the ball and make people miss. Could get in the return game.
9 (145). Green Bay Packers
Quinn Johnson, FB, LSU

10 (146). San Francisco 49ers
Scott McKillop, MLB, Pittsburgh
Our Take: He's not going to fool anyone into thinking he's a multi-Pro Bowl guy, but San Fran will appreciate his motor and drive.
11 (147). Buffalo Bills
Nic Harris, S, Oklahoma
Our Take: Harris is a talented player and had a good Oklahoma career, but he doesn't really fit at safety in the NFL, and will struggle to switch to the NFL.
12 (148). San Diego Chargers
Brandon Hughes, CB, Oregon State

13 (149). Baltimore Ravens (From Denver)
Davon Drew, TE, East Carolina

14 (150). Minnesota Vikings (From Washington)
Jasper Brinkley, LB, South Carolina
Our Take: Vikings move up to take a solid player. Brinkley won't blow anyone away, but he'll help Minnesota's defense.
15 (151). New York Giants (From New Orleans)
Rhett Bomar, QB, Sam Houston State
Our Take: With no need to rush and find a franchise QB, the Giants take a project who might turn into something special down the road..
16 (152). Houston Texans
James Casey, TE, Rice

17 (153). Philadelphia Eagles (From Jets)
Cornelius Ingram, TE, Florida

18 (154). Chicago Bears
Marcus Freeman, LB, Ohio State

19 (155). Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Xavier Fulton, OT, Illinois

20 (156). Atlanta Falcons (From Dallas)
Garrett Reynolds, OT, North Carolina
Our Take: Assuming the expectation for Reynolds are fair, he could stick with Atlanta for several years as a borderline starter.
21 (157). Philadelphia Eagles
Victor Harris, CB, Virginia Tech
Our Take: "Macho" isn't going to be a great NFL corner. He could move to safety at some point, but he does bring aggressiveness and he forces turnovers.
22 (158). Washington Redskins (From Minnesota)
Cody Glenn, OLB, Nebraska

23 (159) Philadelphia Eagles (From New England)
Fenuki Tupou, OT, Oregon

24 (160). St. Louis Rams (From Atlanta)
Brooks Foster, WR, North Carolina

25 (161). Miami Dolphins
John Malone, TE, Monmouth

26 (162). Green Bay Packers (From Baltimore via N.E.)
Jamon Meredith, OT, South Carolina

27 (163). Carolina Panthers
Duke Robinson, OT, Oklahoma
Our Take: Robinson can play either inside or out -- though he's probably destined for tackle, and has a decent future ahead. A nice fifth-round find.
28 (164). New Orleans Saints (From Giants via Eagles)
Thomas Morstead, P, SMU

29 (165). Miami Dolphins (From Indianapolis)
Chris Clemons, FS, Clemson

30 (166). Dallas Cowboys (From Tennessee)
Michael Hamlin, FS, Clemson
Our Take: Hamlin loses draft-position bragging rights to Clemons, but Hamlin may turn out to be the better pro.
31 (167). Arizona Cardinals
Herman Johnson, OT, LSU

32 (168). Pittsburgh Steelers
Joe Burnett, CB, Central Florida

33 (169). Pittsburgh Steelers (Comp pick)
Frank Summers, RB, UNLV

34 (170). New England Patriots (Comp pick)
George Bussey, OG, Louisville

35 (171). San Francisco 49ers (Comp pick)
Nate Davis, QB, Ball State
Our Take: The free-falling Ball State QB finally goes, and lands in a situation where he could find some playing time eventually.
36 (172). Dallas Cowboys (Comp pick)
David Buehler, K, Southern Cal

36 (173). Tennessee Titans (Comp pick)
Javon Ringer, RB, Michigan State
Our Take: Durability concerns dropped Ringer. Tennessee capitalizes and adds another talented back to its stable.
