Some might think John Daly would enter the golf world a bit quieter this time. He has been suspended by the PGA Tour and has basically tarnished his name even further from what it already was, which is a tough feat for basically anyone that didn't kill another human.

Daly decided to take the other approach. After playing his practice rounds in an outfit that could only be defined as pastel colors on mushrooms, Daly went out in the first round of the Open de Espana and fired a 2-under 70, good enough for 45th place, seven shots back of Soren Hansen. His played very Daly-esque. Three birdies, three bogeys and an eagle on the par-5 7th hole.

His outfit, on the other hand, was, well, there it is. I'm not sure which approach Daly is going with his recent digs. Is he going with the, "I don't care about what anyone says anymore, I'm wearing whatever I want and you can kiss it" mentality or the, "I've lost 40 pounds so any outfit looks better than what I used to look like" thought. I think it's the second, and if the guys drops anymore weight I'm officially nominating him as the new spokesperson for Subway.
