Anquan Boldin and Darnell Dockett are both a little upset with their current contract situation. Dockett's situation is a little less exposed because of the constant mention of Boldin's deal, but they're both looking for something new.

And they both have injured hamstrings. Which may or may not be true, but it wouldn't appear that coach Ken Whisenhunt is buying into the injury excuse.
"They showed up last night and reported an injury that we weren't aware of," Whisenhunt said, "so as part of our procedure we sent them for MRIs. Hey, we know what's going on, so I'm really not going to have much to say about that."
Now, here's the thing: maybe they are injured. Do I believe it? Um, no. It sure does seem coincidental that two guys who are really looking for a new contract are suddenly dealing with "hamstring injuries." Of course, Karlos Dansby (franchise tagged two years in a row) and Adrian Wilson (also looking for a new deal) showed up like everyone else, so maybe Wilson and Dockett really are injured.

But the odds are pretty good that Whisenhunt's spot on; the only problem is that by calling out his guys, he might be widening an already substantial divide between the team and two of its stars, which probably won't bode well for a repeat run to the Super Bowl.
