LeBron JamesIt's been five months since the Hawks last beat the Cavaliers -- their lone win in four tries in the regular season was on Dec. 13, 2008 -- but after watching the Cavs absolutely destroy the visitors from Atlanta in the first two games of the second round, it may as well be five years.

Cleveland won Thursday's game 105-85, but that doesn't even begin to convey how much they dominated the Hawks. The Cavs had a 30-point lead entering the fourth quarter, at which point Mike Brown pulled all of his starters. The Cavs improved to 6-0 in the postseason, winning every game by double-digits while holding their opponent to 90 points or fewer each time.

Cavaliers 105, Hawks 85: Recap | Box Score
Cavs Lead 2-0 | Next Game: Saturday @ Atlanta, 8 PM ET

The Cavaliers seem to get better with every game of the playoffs, and at the rate they're going, they may cruise to the NBA Finals without losing a single game. The Hawks, meanwhile, are growing increasingly short-handed by the quarter; neither Al Horford (ankle) nor Marvin Williams (wrist) were available tonight due to injury, and Joe Johnson left in the third quarter with a severely sprained right ankle.

X-rays confirmed that Johnson did not suffer any fractures, but he's already listed as "doubtful" for Saturday's Game 3. He finished the game with just 10 points (5-15 shooting), one fewer than he had in Game 1 when he was completely healthy.

Despite playing only 31 minutes, LeBron James had more than enough time to put his stamp on the game: he finished with 27 points on 9-14 shooting to go with five assists, four steals and block. It actually could have been worse -- uncharacteristically, he also missed six free throws (6-12).

The Cavs didn't emerge completely unscathed, as Delonte West retreated to the locker room in the third quarter after being poked in the eye. At this point, though, there's no reason to think he can't bounce back in time for the weekend.
