Will Brinson kicked it at The OC for the Nike Global Training Summit.

Adrian Peterson is the reigning rushing leader in the NFL and widely regarded as the best running back in football (with all due respect to Mssr. Tomlinson). Peterson is also considered the best fantasy player in the nerdy sports world, so I asked him about whether there was anyone else worth the No. 1 pick, whether he played fantasy football and what his goals were for this year.

Oh yeah! Totally forgot -- he might be getting Brett Favre as a teammate soon. So we obviously talked about that too.

FanHouse: "What do you think about Brett Favre in Minnesota?"

Adrian Peterson: [Looks at a video camera in crowd of reporters.] "What's up, Brett, man? I'm a fan of yours. I've been watching you since I was maybe five or six. I love the passion you play with, so if you want to play, come back and play. If not, we're gonna miss you."

FH: "Alright, AP -- fantasy football question for you ... you play fantasy football right?"

Peterson: [Looks at me like a total loser] "No."

FH: [Laughs awkwardly.] "OK then -- is there any reason for someone to select any other player besides you with the first pick in their fantasy draft?"

Peterson: "I don't know. Maybe they have a reason to, maybe not. I go out and keep my body right and control things I can control."

FH: "Alright then. you got a number in mind?"

Peterson: "I say all the time -- 2,000 is a mark that's going to stay -- 2,000 or more -- it's always going to stay. This year, next year, it's always going to stay."
