Dwight Howard Breaks the Shot Clock

They just don't make backboard equipment like they used to. Dwight Howard threw down this monster two-handed jam early in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference finals, and the shot clock above the rim couldn't withstand the impact.

The game was delayed for about eight and a half minutes while the crew in Cleveland tried to fix it, before they determined they'd just make the repair at halftime. At that point they went old school, and set shot clocks on the floor in the baseline corners behind each basket for the rest of the half. The NBA is nothing, if not prepared.
