When Keith Bulluck and LenDale White went to town on a Terrible Towel in the waning moments of the Titans' beatdown of the Steelers in Week 16 last season, they had just clinched home-field advantage throughout the playoffs. So, sure, they had every right to celebrate.

Plus, no way a team full of grown men would take offense at the defacing of a yellow hand towel, right. Uh, not quite. The reaction was swift, and last month, Titans cornerback Cortland Finnegan even called it unacceptable.

Steelers fans, in general, never forget a slight, and one enterprising soul had Bulluck in mind after the team won its sixth Super Bowl last February.
Titans linebacker Keith Bulluck received a gift in the mail not long after the Super Bowl. It was from a Steelers fan and included a reminder that Bulluck's Terrible Towel stomp didn't go over well in Pittsburgh.

On behalf of the Steelers Nation we would love to present you with our new Terrible Towel. Hang this up in your locker room. Sincerely, The Black and Gold. P.S. - I hope you enjoyed the Super Bowl.

"I laughed. I thought it was hilarious,'' Bulluck said after Friday's minicamp practice at Baptist Sports Park.
The Titans and Steelers will kickoff the 2009 season in Pittsburgh and fans will be waiting. Bulluck willingly recognizes how fanatical Western Pennsylvania is about football, but also makes a decent point about sullying the Terrible Towel.

"I can't wait until we go to Pittsburgh. ... With all due respect, after we win I definitely will not be stomping on any towels, that's just utter disrespect,'' Bulluck said. "The only reason why it happened is because they came into our house waving their 15,000 towels or whatever. They travel well - a proud organization, the Steeler Nation."

LenDale White might feel differently, however.
