Australian boxer Billy Dib landed an illegal punch that should have gotten him disqualified in his fight Thursday in Sydney, but the referee somehow awarded him a controversial TKO over Japan's Kenichi Yamaguchi. And things got worse from there.

After the fight, Yamaguchi's corner was, justifiably, furious with the ref, and in the ensuing confrontation Yamaguchi, Dib and representatives for both of them clashed.

Dib told the Sydney Morning Herald he had banned certain members of his entourage from being in his corner again:
"I have already had a few words with some people, they can't come to my fights any more," he said. "All these people wanted is their one minute of fame on TV, but really they don't know they are hurting my career."
That's the right thing for Dib to do, but even more importantly, he needs to give Yamaguchi a rematch. Dib shouldn't be proud of having this win on his record.
