Update: More details have come out, as noted in an updated story.There are very few details (well, more like no details), but Steelers' quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is facing a lawsuit in Nevada.
As first reported at Pro Football Talk, a woman named Andrea McNulty sued Roethlisberger and several others on Friday. The case is listed as a defamation case on the Washoe County court docket, but until the case moves forward (if it does) there is no explanation of what Roethlisberger is accused of doing to have defamed McNulty.
The standard disclaimer applies here -- the filing of a lawsuit doesn't mean that the accused has done anything wrong, just that someone else is claiming that they did. If Roethlisberger did do something wrong, we will undoubtedly be hearing more about it over the next several months.
