What kind of person watches Fresh Prince of Bel-Air re-runs at 5 AM on Nick at Nite? I don't know. And I also don't know what kind of person watches The TO Show. But approximately the same number of people watched both last week, demonstrating that Terrell Owens isn't exactly reeling in the viewers for his new reality show.
Yes, The TO Show wound up tied for the 798th-highest-rated cable show of the week last week, Sports Business Journal reports. That ties it with a number of other low-rated shows, including a Fresh Prince episode that played at 5 a.m. on Nick at Nite. Suffice to say, Nick at Nite doesn't spend quite as much money advertising an early-morning Fresh Prince episode as VH1 spent hyping The TO Show. So The TO Show isn't looking like the wisest investment for VH1.
So why isn't anyone watching? Here's how VH1 describes last week's episode:
It's time for Terrell to head to Buffalo to meet both his new team and his new city. Before the trip he sits down with his super-agent, Drew Rosenhaus, who pumps T.O. up, "Jerry Maguire" style, for his visit to Buffalo.I haven't seen it, but from that description, I don't think I'm missing anything. I think I'd rather see what kind of hijinks Will and Carlton have gotten themselves into.
