Just like we did with Augusta, Bethpage Black, and Turnberry, we present your Regular Joes who will have a good chance at the PGA Championship. Hazeltine National is hosting its first major since the 2002 PGA Championship, and has been extended to a ghastly 7,678 yards of pure major championship nastiness. Which players do we like to jump out of the bottom of the pack and contend over the weekend? Check back on your Sleepers as we present the Regular Joes.

Jim Furyk
-- Best Finish: T-6 -- True story -- the once world number two is currently on year-two and counting without winning a PGA Tour tournament. It's also true that the man that most pick on name alone (well, and the fact that he is consistent as hell) hasn't had a top-10 at the PGA Championship since the last time it was held at Hazeltine (he finished ninth). The reason he is a good pick this week is because Furyk has finally started to show signs of life (second place at the Memorial, tied for seventh at the AT&T) and hasn't missed a cut since mid-April. He is the type of major championship player that is tough to bet against, so even if it has been over two years since he's held a trophy, it won't stop Furyk from grinding away at Hazeltine like he always does.

Rory McIlroy
-- DNP -- McIlroy is quickly becoming a veteran on tour ... well, as much of a veteran as a 20-year-old can be. He has made the cut in all three majors this season, his first full season in the major rotation, and has missed only one cut, at TPC Sawgrass, in the States. Add his Dubai Desert Classic win on the European Tour earlier this season, his first professional victory, and you've got the recipe for one major contender. The distance of Hazeltine will play in the hands of McIlroy, who is averaging 304 yards off the tee on the PGA Tour this season, so look for his second top-10 finish in a major this year (he was t-10th at Bethpage).

Sergio Garcia
-- 2 -- Back in '02, when Hazeltine last hosted the PGA Championship, Sergio was having his breakout year. A win on both the European and PGA Tours, coupled with top-10 finishes in all the majors had Garcia on the brink of golf command. Sadly for Serg, that was then and this is now. Just two top-10s in two years (he was runner-up to Padraig in '08) in the big events and only one top-10 all year on the PGA Tour has critics riding Garcia like he's David Duval. While he will always have to answer to his putter at days' end, any course that makes someone focus on driving the ball is a bonus for Garcia. This was the tournament that made him famous, and it just seems like the fitting place for him to finally shake that major monkey off his back.

Angel Cabrera -- T-19 -- I've learned quickly that you don't mess with El Pato when it comes to difficult golf courses. He took down Oakmont in '07 and trumped Augusta this year. He's a major championship golfer, no matter if he looks the part or not, and seems like the only guy in the world that doesn't let anyone rattle him. Cabrera's tie for fourth last week at Firestone proves he's zoning, and it helps when you can hit the ball a mile.

Kenny Perry
-- 2 -- An interesting stat from my man Clay Travis on Perry -- he's the leading money leader to never win a major championship. Also interesting is the fact that the PGA Championship is the only major Perry has finished in the top-10 at more than once (three times, dating back to his runner-up in '96). The clock is ticking on Perry to win one of these, but he proved at the Masters that he is still able to contend for a stretch. He's won twice this year and tied for 11th last week at the Bridgestone Invitational. Perry winning a major would be the story of the year, and might allow him to snag Player of the Year honors away from Mr. Woods. Not bad for a guy sweating a Ryder Cup invite a year ago.
