Chad Ochocinco Wants You to Help Him Tweet During Games

Bengals wide receiver Chad Ochocinco loves using Twitter, so much that he wants to use it during his games. The NFL doesn't allow cellular devices on the field, so I've wondered how he was going to be able to get his tweet on without getting fined. I suggested getting a close friend to help him from the stands.

Ochocinco has gone one step beyond that. He's having a contest on Twitter each week to fly a fan to a Bengals game to be his guest tweeter.

He will work out hand signals during the game to signal the fan what to tweet for him. He figures since the fan is already on Twitter, and knows the OGOchoCinco tweets, it will work out fine.

Giving the keys to your Twitter account to a contest winning fan is a whole lot of trust, but perhaps it is worthwhile in promoting Brand Ochocinco. This season he will have the pressure for his onfield performance to match his online exposure. If he can't find the endzone, how is he going to get good tweets?

In the video, he also says that in the Bengals' matchup against the Rams, he is going to be playing some quarterback. He's already played kicker this preseason, so quarterback isn't much of a stretch. I guess opposing teams need to follow Ochocinco's social media stylings to know what to expect, unless that is a smokescreen.
