For a number of major league teams Mondays and Thursdays are travel days. Every Wednesday and Sunday, Fantasy Fill-Ins finds guys who should be widely available on the waiver wire and can step in for the day, helping you gain ground or hold off the pack.On Monday, there are 11 games on the schedule in Major League Baseball. There are 22 teams playing -- which means eight teams have the day off to travel or rest. Here are five really good fill-in options for those players on your fantasy baseball roster who will be sleeping late on Monday.
Kazuo Matsui, Astros - Not only is Matsui batting .360 with four stolen bases over the last week, but he's 5-for-11 (.455) lifetime against Bronson Arroyo. Matsui is only owned in 22% of fantasy leagues.
David Murphy, Rangers - Murphy has had some success against Brett Tomko, albeit in a small sample size. He's 2-for-5 lifetime with a home run against Tomko and over the last week is batting .294. Murphy is only owned in 4% of fantasy leagues.
Orlando Cabrera, Twins - I know Cabrera is mired in a 21-for-100 slump over the past month but there's still good reason to think he might get a hit on Monday. He's facing Jeremy Sowers who Cabrera is batting .412 (7-for-17) lifetime against. Cabrera is available in 66% of fantasy leagues.
Jamey Carroll, Indians - Over the last week, Carroll is batting .308. But against Carl Pavano, he's hitting .300 (6-for-20) lifetime. I dare you to tell me he's unavailable in your fantasy league, as his fantasy baseball ownership is only at 1% right now.

Chris Young, Diamondbacks - Who cares who the Diamondbacks are facing on Monday? Over the last week Young is batting .381 with five home runs and has a sick 1.601 OPS. He's only owned in 29% of fantasy leagues.
Just in case you're wondering how credible these picks are, I wanted to share my report card with you. Since we started this Fantasy Fill-Ins segment I've made player selections four times (five players each time). Here are the results.
• 16 of the 19 players (84.2%) I selected have hit safely the next day (it should be 20, but one of the games was rained out).
• My hitters have gone 26-for-82 (.317) with 10 runs scored, 11 RBI and two home runs.
