Donovan McNabbWhether it's torn, sprained, broken or just needs to be taped, Injuries to Watch will keep you up to date on injuries around the NFL and how they'll affect your fantasy football team.

Quarterback

Matt Cassel, Chiefs - Cassel (left knee) was limited in practice on Wednesday and is listed as questionable. But whispers out of Kansas City lean towards Cassel making it back to play in week 2. You obviously need to wait for an official word from the Chiefs before making a fantasy football decision.

Donovan McNabb, Eagles - Andy Reid hasn't ruled out McNabb playing on Sunday, but it's much too early to make a decision. McNabb sat out of practice on Wednesday even though his broken rib is feeling better. If he doesn't play Kevin Kolb will get the start.

Tony Romo, Cowboys - Romo practiced on Wednesday and announced that his bum ankle would be 100% by Sunday. It's safe to keep Romo in as your starting quarterback.

Running Backs

Justin Fargas, Raiders - Fargas hasn't played since the second preseason game where he injured his hamstring. He participated fully in practice on Wednesday and is expected to play on Sunday.

LaDainian Tomlinson, Chargers - Ryan Dembinsky wrote a great piece on Tomlinson's ankle, which required a protective boot to be worn at his weekly press conference. L.T. claims this injury is common and that we shouldn't worry. The Chargers have already started game-planning for life without Tomlinson. Keep your eyes and ears open on this one throughout the rest of the week.

Pierre Thomas, Saints - Thomas practiced on Wednesday and claims he did so "pain-free". He also said that he would play on Sunday. Jeff Duncan of the Times-Picaynue thinks otherwise.

James Davis, Browns - Did not practice on Wednesday due to his injured shoulder. His status is unknown for Sunday.

Felix Jones, Cowboys - A thigh bruise limited his action on Sunday against Tampa. Jones did practice on Wednesday, but wait to hear that he's 100% before throwing him back into your fantasy lineup.Knox Bardeen twitter

Maurice Jones-Drew, Jaguars - Even though Jones-Drew showed up at the Monday press conference with his hand and arm taped, he's not listed on the injury report. He'll be on the field on Sunday.

Shonn Greene, Jets - Rookie running back Shonn Greene participated fully in practice on Wednesday and his rib injury seems to be ready for action.

Jamal Lewis, Browns - Lewis has an unspecified neck injury and was limited in practice on Wednesday. His status for Sunday is unknown.

Wide Receiver

Deion Branch, Seahawks - Branch did not practice on Wednesday but he should test his hamstring later this week to see if he'll be able to play on Sunday.

Steve Breaston, Cardinals - With the fast one that the Cardinals pulled last week (We thought Boldin was out and Breaston in -- the opposite happened) it's hard to make any kind of decision this early in the week. But, Breaston's knee injury kept him from practicing at all on Wednesday.

Kevin Walter, Texans - Walter fully participated in practice on Wednesday and expects to return to action on Sunday from a hamstring pull.

T.J. Houshmandzadeh, Seahawks - Houshmandzadeh is suffering from back spasms and was unable to practice on Wednesday. His status is unknown for Sunday.

Antonio Bryant, Buccaneers - Bryant left the Bucs week 1 game saying he didn't hurt his knee he was resting it so an injury didn't occur. He must still be resting as he only partially participated in practice on Wednesday.

Tight End

Bo Scaife, Titans - Scaife has not been ruled out for Sunday, but he did not practice on Wednesday and has been slowed since suffering a knee injury in Thursday's season opener.

Jeremy Shockey, Saints - Shockey did not practice due to an ankle injury but is expected to play on Sunday.

Kicker

Jason Elam, Falcons - Elam missed an extra point and two field goals on Sunday and was limited in practice on Wednesday due to a hamstring injury.
