I'm a true believer in the strategy of playing weekly matchups for defenses in fantasy football. I've even gone as far as switching defenses each week of a the season in the past, just to prove that a fantasy team can win by playing the waiver wire game with defensive units.New Orleans is only owned in 11% of FleaFlicker Fantasy Football leagues and could turn in a pretty good Week 2 score if Donovan McNabb does not play for Philadelphia. Keep an eye on the FanHouse Injuries to Watch report for info on that play. Indianapolis (only owned in 21% of fantasy leagues) could also be a great waiver-wire play as they face Miami who had tons of trouble on offense in Week 1.

• For those of you kicking yourselves for not grabbing the Philadelphia defense -- calm down. Jake Delhomme was handing out interceptions like Santa handing out gifts during the holidays. The Eagles play New Orleans in week 2 and the results will be decidedly different.
• The defense in Atlanta was a very pleasant surprise, at least if you're an Atlanta fan. The Falcons pressured the quarterback all day, got four sacks and were never really tested in the secondary -- an area of perceived weakness. Carolina didn't show anything in week 1 to lead me to believe they'll be able to push Atlanta's secondary either. Expect another good week from Atlanta's defense and then be ready to jump ship as they travel to New England in week 3.
• The Redskins didn't do much on defense from a fantasy football point of view in week 1. They get to pick on an anemic St. Louis offense this week and a Swiss cheese-like offensive line.
