Last week, we gave you Carson Palmer as a great option, and he flopped. But remember we also said Joe Flacco would be a QB1 (ranking him as the No. 10 QB for Week 1), and he didn't disappoint. This week, we're looking at a high-scoring game in Buffalo, when the Bills take on the Buccaneers. Both secondaries did nothing to stop the pass last week, with Tony Romo continuously going deep against Tampa Bay and Tom Brady completing 39 passes against Buffalo. Both of their QB2s could make great spot starts as you search for a Donovan McNabb replacement.1. Peyton Manning, IND @ MIA

• Donovan McNabb was on his way to an excellent game against the Panthers before he suffered his rib injury. As a result, I love Matt Ryan playing against Carolina at home. As our Knox Bardeen expected, Ryan showed great chemistry with new tight end Tony Gonzalez, and while Michael Turner and the running game struggled, Matty Ice showed he has the chops to be a fantasy QB1.
• Speaking of McNabb, he hasn't been ruled out officially, but I wouldn't expect to see him play. Jeff Garcia will be an intriguing option soon, but coming off the street I don't expect him to start. If you haven't seen Kevin Kolb play, take the advice of the people who have and don't roster him. The Saints could make Kolb look like Jake Delhomme this week.
• Pittsburgh looks to have become a passing team, which bumps up the value of Big Ben Roethelisberger. He faces a Bears secondary that did a good job of limiting Aaron Rodgers' numbers. That makes Roethlisberger a borderline starting QB this week.• After being too high on Palmer last week, I'm probably way too low on him this week. I don't trust him against an excellent Packers secondary. He belongs on your bench this week, as does Matt Hasselbeck and Shaun Hill, who face each other. Both are borderline QB2s this week, and I'd rather play Jason Campbell, JaMarcus Russell, or Byron Leftwich.
