Justin TuckDallas Cowboys left tackle Flozell Adams has been fined $12,500 for his trip on the Giants' Justin Tuck Sunday night, according to the Dallas Morning News. The play occurred late in the first half of New York's win over Dallas -- Tuck blew past Adams en route to quarterback Tony Romo, but Adams stuck his leg out and upended Tuck, who fell hard to the turf.

Tuck spent the rest of the game with his left arm in a sling and reportedly suffered a partially torn labrum on the play, according to Newsday.

This is the second time in two weeks that Adams has felt the NFL's wrath -- he earned a $5,000 fine following Week 1 for an unnecessary roughness penalty against Tampa Bay.

Tuck, meanwhile, could miss up two weeks, though he hasn't ruled out playing this coming Sunday when the Giants head to Tampa.

"It's going to be day-to-day and hopefully by the end of the week there will be some progress," Giants coach Tom Coughlin said at his Wednesday press conference. "It's a matter of soreness and strength, soreness and strength. Who knows? Maybe he'll end up having to wear a harness. That's not a problem. We have a couple of guys doing that."

Tuck called Adams' play "bush league" after the game, though Adams maintained that he didn't remember tripping Tuck.
